Data protection

We take the protection of personal data very seriously and ensure that you will feel secure in visiting our website. Any personal data which is recorded as a result of a visit to our website is processed in accordance with the applicable legislation, in particular federal data protection legislation (BDSG) and the telecommunications services data protection legislation (TDDSG). How does the author process personal data? 
In some areas of our website we offer you the possibility of contacting us. Any personal data which is communicated during the process will only be used by us for the purpose it has been provided for. Your data will not be transferred to any third party.

What is personal data? 
Personal data is information which makes it possible to identify an individual. This in particular includes your name, date of birth, address and telephone number. Information which cannot be directly connected to your real identity (e.g. preferred websites or the number of users of a site) does not represent personal data. How is the transmission of personal data secured? 
In order to ensure that communication with you is secure we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption According to our current state of knowledge the 128 bit encryption which this enables can be regarded as secure. This level of security is achieved by all browsers of later generations. It may be necessary for you to update the browser on your PC. 

What data is accessed? 
If the Internet offering includes a possibility of entering personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses), the disclosure of this data by the user is expressly on a voluntary basis. Where technically possible and reasonable these services will also be made available without the need for users to enter such data, or enabling them to use anonymised data or a pseudonym. However, the correct entry of data, including optional data, will enable us to provide you with a personal and individual service. 

Are email correspondence and the contact form secure? 
If you wish to contact the author by email or using the contact form, we must point out that under certain circumstances it may not be possible to guarantee the confidentiality of transmitted information in spite of the encryption (see above: "How is the transmission of personal data made secure?"). The content of emails can be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you should send us confidential information only by post.

Is my data recorded when I visit a website? 
Every time a user accesses the page of our website and every time a file is called off, access data relating to this transaction is saved in a log file on our server.

  2. the page from which the file was called off
  3. date, time
  4. type of browser and browser settings
  5. operating system
  6. the page you visited
  7. the data volume transmitted
  8. access status (file transmitted, file not found etc.

This data is used to generate statistics which help us to adapt our website to your requirements. A reference to an individual can only be derived from this if you log into our site directly or access our website from a personalised page. In no case will your data or part of it be passed on to a third party. 


Can I influence the use of my data? 
Of course the decision about whether and for what purposes we can use your data lies entirely with you. In addition you alone decide if we may use your data for purposes of consultancy, advertising and market research. Here, too, any permission you provide can be withdrawn by you at any time.

Do you pass on my data to third parties? 
Personal data will be used by us only for internal purposes in relation to the customer relationship. Transfer to third parties will require your prior consent. Recording of personal data and its transfer to state institutions authorised to receive them will only be implemented in accordance with the applicable legislation and to the extent we are compelled to do so by court verdicts. All employees and service providers have been placed under the obligation of non-disclosure by the author. 

How can I check, correct or delete my data? 
In accordance with § 34 and § 6b BDSG users have the right on request to receive free information about any of their personal data which has been saved. In addition users have the right in accordance with statutory regulations to have their personal data corrected, blocked and deleted.


Use of Google Analytics 
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address which, however, is anonymised using the method_anonymizeIp() and ensures that it can no longer be allocated to a particular connection) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States . Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. For the future you can reject the collection of your data by Google-Analytics by installing the opt-out add-on (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) for your browser.

Use of remarketing lists and double-click campaigns. 
This website uses remarketing lists. As a visitor you can create your individual configuration via the ad specification manager www.google.de/ads/preferences. HÖR Technologie advertisements are placed on websites by third parties, including Google
